This vintage sapphire engagement ring by J.B.Star pays tribute to a gorgeous sapphire. Measuring 2.79 carats, seemingly infinite layers of royal blue shimmer in a geometric mounting of white gold. Flanked on either side by tapered baguette cut diamonds, the dazzling sapphire in this vintage engagement ring lies suspended in a four-prong setting like a fragment of blue light. Details: Trademark of JB Star. Platinum. Tapered baguette cut diamond; 0.38 carats. Emerald cut sapphire; 2.79 carats. Circa 1990.
