With a diamond accented heart motif, antique amethyst engagement rings like this one are made for a princess. A collection of fifty-two single cut diamonds meanders around the shoulders and shank of the platinum band for a total diamond weight of 0.33 carats. Prong set at the center of this romantic engagement ring is a glorious round faceted mixed cut amethyst that weighs 4.56 carats. A cluster of diamond-accented hearts surrounds the gemstone. Circa 1940s or later.
