Behind the Scenes with Leah Perry Photography

May 31, 2015

I know Christa Leveto loves her work as a stylist and does a first class job. When I asked if she would help me with a photo shoot for Topazery, she said "Yes!" She referred me to Leah Perry, a commercial photographer in Atlanta. Here are a few behind-the-scenes photos of the awesome team who made this photo shoot possible.

On a perfect May morning, we met at Leah's studio at the Goat Farm Arts Center. The center is a hidden treasure in the middle of downtown Atlanta. It is located in what was once an under-utilized historic site and includes 12 acres of grounds and 12 turn-of-the-century brick structures. Leah's studio has very high, exposed ceilings and huge windows to let in lots of natural light. Leah took some beautiful studio shots and then we packed up and headed to Heritage Sandy Springs for the location shots in the afternoon. The weather was perfect for us all day. The parasols are just for fun!

Saj made sure Rachel's make up and hair was flawless and Rachel looked beautiful all day. Thanks to everyone, it was a great shoot! The images are so much more than I hoped for. Stay tuned ... I'll post some of the images on the blog soon.
